An Austin-area local, Miguel obtained his B.S. in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. His clinical expertise is in the outpatient orthopedic setting, where he has treated a variety of diagnoses from spine pathologies, to sports injuries, joint replacements, and other
post-operative procedures.

Miguel is an avid believer that movement is medicine and is the solution for most orthopedic conditions. He has advanced certifications in craniomandibular rehabilitation and dry needling from the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, as well as training in myofascial decompression (cupping therapy).

Miguel spends his free time attending CrossFit and perfecting functional fitness. When not in the gym or the clinic, you can find him sharing quality time with his wife, Sandra, and their two dogs, Ollie and Evie.
