Alanna DiBiasi, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Alanna pursued her passion for physical therapy through Widener University’s 3+3 Physical Therapy program in Philadelphia, PA, where she later settled, developing a deep love for the city. After earning her Doctorate in 2015, she began her career at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, working in the Department of Defense’s only intensive care burn center. Her burn expertise continued in Philadelphia at another intensive care burn unit.

Seeking to focus on helping patients return to high-level activity, Alanna joined the 87th Medical Squadron at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey, where she worked with active-duty soldiers, preparing them for combat, deployment, and flight readiness. This experience inspired her to work with athletes, leading to her role at a sports clinic in Philadelphia.

Alanna’s time in San Antonio sparked her love for Texas, and she eventually made her way back to Austin, joining Austin Sports Medicine, where she progressed to Clinic Director at multiple locations. In 2022, she expanded her knowledge of healthcare by earning a Master’s in Healthcare Transformation from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Value Health Institute, focusing on patient-centered outcomes. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, having earned this advanced certification through the Institute of Athletic Regeneration.

Outside of work, Alanna enjoys spending time with her dog Sarge and leading an active lifestyle, including running, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
